Another note:

- sps growing. I have a red monti cap and bird's nest that have grown. The red Monti cap in the middle is not doing well.

- Xenia spreading like crazy as expected

- acan is growing

- zoas growing very slowly

- gsp for some reason is not happy. It's never liked this tank

Update

I was battling red flatworms for a while in the nano tank.
Did countless flatworm exit treatments but they would always come back.

I decided to break it down and start fresh

This is the one month mark.

After a couple more months I'll move it back to my office.


I used corals, water, rocks, sand and cheato from my main tank which I know does not have red flatworms.

I light is from Amazon. Just search waterproof aquarium led. It grows algae like crazy.

My chaeto is growing fast and it has very little flow. I'm using the light I mentioned.
Maybe not enough nutrients in your water?

Thank you so much for the link to the protein skimmer. I just bought one too. What is the rating on your rio pump? I wish I could fit a wavemaker in this tank. My corals have always done so much better with one. All of your corals look really healthy. Are you using any supplements or media?
