My 30 gallon!!!

I just wanted to show a few pics of my 30 gallon, I recently got t5s on it and my corals look so happy! (sorry I don't have photoshop to fix the colors on these)

I actually got the Tek New Wave T5s, they are made for horticulture so they were only $93 (without bulbs) I made this stand for them with an acrylic sheild to keep them from getting wet (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1069440) and they are working awesome.

Is the New Wave as powerful as the Tek for aquariums? Same ballast?

I'm not sure on the ballast, but they do have a sort of individual reflectors, they aren't as good as Ice cap reflectors or even the tek reflectors but are still better than a singe reflector. Personally I am very satisified with them for only $93 (without bulbs) I have seen growth on my montipora cap in under a week and once I get another powerhead I have a hunch that keeping acros wont be a problem. I recommend them to anyone wanting to go the budget route.
