Hey guys and gals,
I cannot wait until i start this tank! :bounce1: Ive had bigger tanks in the past but this is all i can afford hence that im a 16 year old thats working at my LFS. I know its a weird tank and all but i like it.

The List:
33g Long- 52$
Skimmer- CSS 60(HOB)-90$
AC 110 HOB- 35$
PH- free maxi-jet 1200
Stand and canopy in the works seeing as i have built every stand and canopy for my tanks.
And the all important lighting - T5 lighting 4x54 nova extreme fixture (already had it from old tank)

The tanks dimensions are very weird indeed. It is 48in. long 13 in. high and a 12 in. depth.

My plans are as follows....
-Lots of zoa's and other variety of LPS and softies
-NO SPS(even though i could do it with the lighting and all)
-DSB about 3 to 4 inches
-50# of LR

Fish List-
-Bluespot Jawfish or the cheaper Yellow head Jawfish( which ever is avalible)
-Fairy Wrasse or Green Coris Wrasse
-Some Green Chromis possibly
- and others to come.....

Overall i think this is going to be a good project. You guys might flame me for the tank size and all but its all i can afford and the tanks has alot of space that i can use. Thanks for your time in reading this. Comments and concerns are very welcome .

Thanks Steve :D :fun2:

Hey, I have a 33 long too due to apartment living. It's the bottom of a double tank stand with a empty 55 on top. It's more of a fish only with a few mushroom colonies. I can't put too much lighting on it because of heating issues but I have 130 watts of PC over it. Good luck with yours!

Thanks guys for the kind words.

All Delight- No, it is not custom made. It's an AGA, I know right how weird? I just came across it yesterday at my stroe when i was ordering some tanks. 52$ isnt a bad price...... I dont have any pics yet hence that it hasent been ordered yet. I should get it with the next week or two.

:D Steve

I finally built the stand yesterday. I hope to get the tank on thursday. Heres some pics...

lol i wounder why just messin nice stand i would have added more support on the bottom of the tank like a grid pattern but im just parinoid

lol im 16 too down in miami thoe nice work on the stand i m8t be making one soon since i dont like the stand my buddy 40 gallon has (wich im buying i think)

Its pretty simple dude. That stand was sat on by my 3 friends including me. It is a-okay stability wise. By adding more wood to the bottom would just be like adding more weight and money out of my pocket. Look at the stand most people have and you will see 90% of them dont have bracing on the bottom.

Steve

lol i gess im a lil bit parinoid (dont want to come home from work to find the house with 2 in of water and 2 clowns floping all over the place
