Tank will be 90x60x50cm which is about 36x24x20 inches.

It will hold roughly 340l before displacement. This works out to about 90 US gallons.

The plan for this tank is sps and fish wise will be dominated by wrasses. Definitely want a few clams and anemones too.

Fish wise I was looking at:
2 Meleagrus Leopard wrasses
2 Genicanthus angels(not sure which ones yet)
Carpenters flasher wrasse
Exquisite wrasse
Pink margin fairy wrasse
Diamondback goby
Midas Blenny
Maybe a tang or school of chromis

Filtration wise I'm still unsure, definitely getting an oversized skimmer and Marine Pure. Also will be using activated carbon. Might use a filter sock and carbon dose as well.

Lights will be LEDs, purely because it is less costly after T5 replacements are taken into consideration. There's no debating, T5s are better though [emoji39]

Less shadowing, better coverage, guarantee the proper spectrum.

Just get good quality T5s like ATI

nice! i'll be fallowing as that only 4 inches shorter than my. I almost went with the 20" height but decided on more h2o volume...15 gallons.

post pics and keep us updated...

Yeah, I went 20 just because it'll be easier to work in the tank. Will post pics when it arrives.

Your kind of obligated to get the divided African leopard then right? lol here is the one I just picked up for a new system.

Haha lol. Leopard wrasses have always been some of my favorite fish. Stunning specimen you have there.

My buddy has one for a little over two months running and it is pulling a lot of dark, smelly skimmate out of his tank. Completely silent and doesn't produce any micro bubbles. He says it's very easy to adjust and fine tune, although I've personally never had much experience with protein skimmers.

Thanks!

Went with an apf800 ij the end. Unfortunately it has a crack in it that I only noticed when I got home. Will fix it up with acrylic glue.

So. Tank was meant to be delivered last week. But the stand wasn't ready. Then the new day was yesterday, but it turns out the builder drilled the holes in the front (starfire) panel by mistake [emoji849]

Uggghhhh, more waiting...

Light has arrived [emoji1303]
It's a hybrid unit, there is place for 4x39 watt T5s. I'll probably only run 2.
