How do you like your skimmer? That is on my top 3 for my 40 build. Could you share some pros/cons

The skimmer has been nothing but great for me. it produces about a half cut of nasty gunt every three days! The size and performance is perfect for my tank.

what kind of over flow?

The overflow was a headache i searched and searched for the right overflow looked at herbies looked into building a corner piece with one piece of acrylic glued all the way to the bottom and also thought about building a box. I went with the design of my nano simple cheap and effective. i bought a 6 inch pvc pipe and cut slits in it and glued it into the corner of the tank over a 1" bulkhead i drilled with a durso overflow pipe.
