I picked this tank up from Tim who posted on the frag website.
Everyone always enjoys a build thread so i figured why not

The tank crashed a day before I got to pick it up
So I'm recurring all the rock
Everything is very dirty and needs a good cleaning
Last night I got the stand and canopy cleaned up and polished

I drilled the back of the tank with 2 1" bulkheads for an overflow
mock up of overflow box

Today I painted and installed the overflow
I also painted the stand inside to prevent and further water damage and salt creep damage

Very nice. Tagging along.

The tape might not hold the overflow together:) :o

Funny you emotion that lol I taped all the edges and superglued the acrylic and the tape got stuck to the edge so I had to sand the tape off and clean the edges up

Nice looking tank Nick!

Is this tank #2 or #3 :)

This is tank #3 but replacing tank #2 with it. My wife's cube is too deep for my liking and having a longer tank will give me more room for corals as iv already pretty much maxed this tank out

No such thing as maxed out😃 Coming along nicely. Great going on getting the wife involved. But WE really know who's tanks they are.. You have played it well my friend. So much for the saying "its better to ask for forgiveness".......

Haha that's the truth. She picks everything that goes in it but I have to take care of it

Holly cow! It's the same tank! That's crazy

Looking good !! So excited to see this tank back in use. I think I bought this tank and stand in 1997 and moved to AZ in 2005. Will try to find some old Pictures.

That's awesome it looked great in the picture below! I still have another 50lbs of rock I need to add to it. I need to change the t5 bulbs out also

did a quick scape, I'm not sure on the large rock in the middle but it's heavy and concerned about suspending it over two rocks if I layers it flat like a shelf
