My 90

Another great pick up. It looked light green under the LFS lights but purple under mine. I got it for $25 and this is it after 10 min. in the tank. The one on the right.

Yes sir. At first I was skeptic about the color. The polyps weren't out all that much. I just looked at it and the PE is just as good as the green one next to it.
 
nice, mine doesnt have that good of PE, but seems to have some nice colors. Really have to see them in person to tell. I am still not sure if I can make it out sunday or not. Wife is giving me the run around.
 
Oh I have a frag of blue center and purplish/brown skirts for you. I think they are called caribbean blues not sure and don't really care about names. It's for the green cap that you gave me that bleached from falling on a frogspawn for who knows how long.
 
It's not lost but on it's way. I have it in the frag tank hoping it will color back up, but I think I'm losing the battle. You'll have to show a pic of the cap. I have 3 diff. color greens from a couple people and can't remember if yours is like any of the others I have.
 
Looks good AquaGrizzly. I would suggest 250s for lighting especially with sps. I am just not a fan of 175s because of their lack bulb choices and poor water penetration on most lighting fixtures. I run 3 250s on my tank and love them. Before that I ran 2 250s on my 90gal. For the cost of running MH, you don't save much in electricity with 175 as compared to 250s. JMO
 
JR-after trying all those bulbs you like the 12k best? i have 6500k but i also have 2xvhos 110 i think. its actually a nice color but i was thinking of putting reeflux 12k in and daylight or 50/50 on the actinic. do u supplement?

No just the 12ks. I originally was going to use VHOs as suppliments with the lumenarc reflectors I had, but when I switched to the reeflux bulbs and lumenbright reflectors and loved the color I was getting so I left them off.
 
Grizz, is the plan still in place for a get-together at your place on Sunday at 1 pm? Since a lot of people seem to be working next weekend (Evil, Fuppets, AquaGrizzly) maybe we can figure something out at your place this weekend.
 
I'm hoping. Not sure how many people are actually coming. Sure that people will be here. If not, no hard feelings. I'm actually looking for some input on my tank and if there is something I could change or make better while I have the funds. I know I need more flow towards the bottom but I would like input from people that have been in the hobby for longer than me.
