My 90g RR/30g custom sump

i didn't keep my mouth shut when i should have.

no worries though I'm happier than ever, and my tank is looking great. spent a few hours re-scaping the other day, and now i have 2 very large piles instead of 1 giant pile of rocks.

this afternoon i went and hit a bunch of our LFS in sacramento

i purchased :

a yellow rose shrimp goby and tiger pistol shrimp from jojo's

2 yellow clown gobies (gobiodon okinawae)

i'm enjoying being jobless way too much!!!

one of the okinawa clown gobies didn't make it.

But, i just placed a really nice order with blue zoo :

4 small female Lyretail Anthias
1 small yellow watchman goby
1 green clown goby

hmm wow just realized i didn't mention i bought 2 ruby red cardinals at jojo's a couple weeks ago, along with a pistol shrimp from aquaworkz that will go with the new watchman goby.

also picked up another small mantis shrimp from vallejo aquarium a couple days ago, he's the lone occupant of my sump currently

dosed the entire system with 1oz prazipro last night and everything looks great still. i was worried my large feather dusters might be effected so i pulled them 4/5 of them to my brothers tank. the 5th was too far under a rock so i decided to dose anyway, he's not effected in the slightest.

i'd been having problems with my fish and internal worms, i'd noticed white stringy poo coming from several fish.

it's a hazard of not qt'ing but it's nice to know prazipro can be used on a reef tank with no ill effect. i have alittle of everything also since it's connected to all 4 tanks.

whats kinda of odd is that it didn't bother all the tiny feather dusters that have started to take over everywhere ( kinda hoped some would have died )

yeah i'm extremely happy, only issue i'm having looks like the YWG they sent me might be partially or completely blind, very odd behavior from the little fellow but he's fat and healthy

ordered an acrylic fish trap today, i've decided it's time for my tangs to go, there pretty large now. the atlantic blue is about 4" and a real jerk, he steals food from everyone, and the scopas tang has been a model citizen but he's abit over 4".

blue tang has been gone for over a week now, all the other fish seem much more relaxed

WOW got cloudy overnight. everything looks alright, PH is at 8.08 normally at 8.4 right now

hmm i just noticed all my micro brittle stars are out and climbing around on the glass. i wonder they or something else spawned last night and caused this cloudiness and not the biopellets. i did move some stuff around in the sump last night and change out the filter pad.

yeeouch ok, got some catching up to do.

pulled the biopellets out because the cloudiness just wouldn't go away, a few LPS took a bit hit from it somehow. everything is stabilized now though.

my 4 lyretails are all still female, they've grown quite a bit though all are inbetween 2"-2 1/2" now.

all fish are doing really well.
