I stopped trying to feed my anemone pieces of shrimp (which is either discarded or lost to shrimp) and started just shooting some mysis at it when I feed the fish. It now eats the mysis and closes up so fast that the shrimp don't have a chance! It's colored up nicely and seems to be doing great. I can't wait to set it up in my new tank with its own neat spot and no clownfish (for awhile!).
