My Birthday Surprise

I came home from work yesterday and was surprised with a gift of 6 blue damsels swimming in my tank. The wife knew I was wanting some blue chromis and saw these damsels and thinking they were chromis and bought them. Now I have to find a way to get them out of the tank or I guess I could just leave them and then later I would only have to worry about catching just one fat happy damsel after it finally kills off every other living thing in the tank. :mad2:

OH MY GOD! I can't believe Max did that without talking to me about it. Last year we were trying to get you a good powder blue tang (I think that's what it was) but I could not find a healthy one locally and didn't want to risk getting it online. But she totally talked to me through that whole process.

AWW MAN, what a bummer! Thats awful as they are so hard to get out! But in a way kinda funny..... A few years later when you are telling the story that is! At least she had good intentions to get you something you really wanted. Shame on the store for selling her them because you know she probably talked to the attendent a little about what you wanted and what they were going in. ANY one working at a LFS knows the blue damsels reputation and should have guessed she was looking for blue reef chromis!

Maybe they will just kill each other. Wait and see what they do. Or trap them?

By the way I thought about about green chromis but they were very plain looking. I guess some (blue) are prettier than others.

Happy birthday and good luck. My birthday was last week and my wife said, "I feel bad about not suprising you with anything for your tank but I did not know what to get and I know I would buy something at the store that costs $100 but you could get from the club for $20." I just say that is ok but I am jumping for joy on the inside.
