help me please!!!! My brain is dying I think. It is showing its skeleton, is there any way to save it? Can it be from too much light, too much flow? I am feeding phyto pheast, and mysis to the tank. I don't wanna lose this coral. Thanks
Andy

took down some water params and we have some ammonia, some nitrates, no nitrites, our calcium is running a little low and our PH has dipped from 8.3 to 8.0.

I'm like the scare crow... I don't have a brain... but if I did.... I'd make sure my params are in check. It sounds like you already realize yours aren't in check? Thus... you know what you need to do. But I do not know if it will save your brain or not to fix what is broken.

I've saved several brains that were showing skeleton.
1. paramters
2. target feed
3. make sure nothing is picking at it. I've had a coupe of fish that like to pick at brains---blue tang.
4. do you have clowns trying to host it roughing it up?
all I can think of for now. good luck

What he said. Also place it on a flat rock on your sand bed. That way the damaged area won't be touching all that bacteria.

Give it a little lower light and flow, too, if it is getting blasted right now. Mine like low light and low flow...
