With all your knowledge of Pomacanthidae and all the connections it seems you have I would have definitely thought you had a career in Marine Biology or Ichthyology...
 
I will have some more fish pictures up soon...I did pick up a ATB 1050 skimmer with Red Dragon pump for the 125QT. I will be back home this weekend to hopefully get the system up and running and filled with water.

Speaking of water...I am trying to design a tank around 3-4k gallons that would start in the spring/summer. I am going to add a room tied into my basement. Dimensions of the tank will be around 16' x 8' x 48".
 
That would be amazing! I'd love to make enough money to have tank like that! Never in my life time though. Be carefully will humidity issues, it can quickly ruin your house. There was a Guy on here years ago that his house was litterally destroyed from his tank, I believe it was 2k gallons.
 
Won't be in my house at all. Will be a totally separate room with its own HVAC and won't have any wood or drywall. The ceiling would be a skylight application with electronic shades.

That is his part-time non-profit job, but not the technical "job" that pays the bills ;)

John didn't you say sometime before you were working on some research with other scientists? or am I just pulling thoughts out of mid air?

Hmm, you just going to keep the LR? Guess I'm really turning into a Reef addict, anything minus corals just looks a bit bare.
NOT meant as a criticism by the way. I'd kill to have even one of those fish. But if you want some expendable reef critters I have tons of Discosoma coralimorpharians. they replenish themselves with gusto! LOL

Like I said, we share taste in fish!!!! RIP, my wrought iron and conspic. I also lost my interruptus and all my meredithi in my Christmas debacle.
