My Clam is getting white spots...

I have two quite large maxima clams. I noticed in the last few days that one of the clams started getting a few white spots. They are about 0.5cm in diameter. With white in the center and less white on the outsides. The almost look like white dimples.
What is it? I see no parasites on the outside of the clam...

currently not, but if there's a site with some common pests/diseases in clams, perhaps I cold identify?
