My clam tank

The clam tank is only a 75 that is plumbed into my 75 frag tank to the sump where my 120 sps is plumbed also. To keep electrical cost down I went this way - equipment for everything is a mag 18 - Tunze 9010 skimmer and Tunze reactor all in a 60 gallon rubbermaid tub. Besides the reactor I only feed formula food once a day in the 120 for the fish.

Thank you IredescentLily, I tried to get a friend over this weekend to take a updated shot but he was busy. We removed some corals and added some more really nice ultra croceas. Our plan (Wife and I) is to get atleast 25 to 30 really nice clams and weed out all but 1 gigas a couple squammys and a couple derasas.

Het skinz I know, trying to get my friend over who took the other pics for me. He told me saturday he will be over and I will call him right now.

The clams attatch theirselves. Thank you everyone for the compliments. My wife actually takes care of them most of the time. We have 9 tanks around the house, kinda crazy.

So you put the clam on various places on the rock and wait for them attach...
I was asking cause some look attached out in the open and was wondering how you had managed to do that without them tipping over or them moving ...

id love to be able to get them to attach at some of the places i see on your LR...

They do not always cooperate. Sometines I will move the rock or clam around until they are happy and attatch. IMO they like to direct themselves with the light or get more comfortable on the rock but when they decide to attatch the rock can usually be moved around for best viewing.
