my clown fish are broken

Actually their clock is broken. These two are definately not like clockwork. They laid eggs for the first time 8/4. They hatched 8/12. They laid their second batch 8/15. I expected them to hatch tonight (8/23). Checked them today and apparently they hatched last night (8/22). She looks almost ready to pop again. I'm going to try to find something I can remove for them to use so I can put the eggs into the separate tank. I have very bad eyesight and my children couldn't tell me how the eggs looked so I could judge the hatching based on sight. The temperature in the tank stays stable at about 80 F.

They are a pair of A. ocellaris. They are tank raised purchased as little guys. They have been in the tank about a year.

Hopefully I'll be able to figure out their cycle and get some little ones.

Any little thing can mess them up. Mine spawned on a clay saucer. Two days after a hatch they would spawn again. Then their nem crawled on the saucer, and literally flipped it over. Now its been 4 days since their eggs hatched and they seem to be pouting about the relocated saucer.

I stand a ceramic floor tile at a slant next to where they laid the last batch. Some people use a clay flower pot.

It would only take something like 1/2 a degree more in temperature to make them hatch a day earlier.

Thank you for your suggestions and advice. I won't make changes as she is due to lay again tomorrow-if she keeps to her last schedule-but I'll get things ready for the next time as far as a clay piece near the nem.

Their third batch

Their third batch

My A. ocellaris layed their first batch 8/4 these hatched 8/12
second batch 8/15 these hatched 8/22
third batch 8/25 I'll try to do a better job of catching the hatch
