my more dominant clown (i dont think it is old enough to be female yet) has begun hosting in my frogspawn. it is still checking it out, but it is definitely starting to host in my frogspawn. it is so cool to watch it doing it.

its not in it constantly, so i am hoping it decides it likes it in there. it did spend about an hour playing in it before taking a little break, then jumped in again
anyway, i took some pictures. its not the clown in front, it is at the bottom of the frogspawn

best host for a clown IMHO

Why do you feel it is the best host? I am just wondering if there is some benefit that I am missing.

I think the tissue of the frogspawn is a lot thinner then an anemone's and is more prone to tearing from the clownfish over loving them. I know of several reefers that have lost corals due to clownfish abuse.

I also do not like the Hyper-Melaninization that corals such as frogspawn and torches can cause.
