I have had my clownfish in qt for about a month and a half now. I have transferred him from tank to tank on occasion, and I've had him in hyposalinity. I'm currently slowly raising the salinity (extremely slowly, and we are currently at 1.015, with a target of 1.020) he does get stressed out when I transfer him to a different tank, and will spazz out on the bottom of the tank intermittently. I just switched him to a 10 gallon from a 20 gallon, and he is (flashing?) spazzing out on the bottom of the tank and in his pvc pipe a lot. It's freaking me out. The salinity is the same as the tank he came from, and the temperature matches as well. He was completely fine before I moved him, and I've been watching him closely. He's about five years old if that matters. Thanks for your help in advance.

Why is he in qt? What are you treating for?
Also how long are you mixing your salt water prior to using it?

you always want to thoroughly mix the salt water for 24 hours. In emergencies you can get away with less but ideally 24 hours is best.
If you made a batch and want to lower the SG by adding fresh water to it, then you can mix for 30min or so. but if adding salt, you want to give it some time to fully dissolve.
Doing hypo for ich would require the SG to be at 1.009 (measured by a calibrated refractometer) and to stay at that level constantly without going up for a full 30 days. Hope thats how you treated.
