How long will it take the eggs to hatch at 80F?

I'm thinking about trying ro raise a few if I can get them siphoned out at hatching. Will feeding them newly hatch brine shrimp work?

I have a 20gal. long tank for them is that to small?

8 days more than likely.
No, they need rotifers for the first week or so. Sometimes I feed BBS at day 5 or 6.
Too big IMO. I use a 5 gallon half full or a 10 gallon divided in half with glass half full.

Thank you very much for your help.

I'm probably going to pass on the project I can' find a rotifer culter anywhere. Years ago I raise freshwater angel fish fry by the hundreds and hundreds, they could eat newly hatch brine shrimp.

all depends on what kind of clowns you have and the water temp. my gsm hatch in 6 days, my onyx in 8 days, clarkii and occy in 7 days..

Ok it been 8 days this even. I can see there eyes bright silver and they look kind of cray brown, how long you think it might be for they hatch?

This is my clown spawning.

Second Spawn

Ok I'm prepared now or maybe close you tell me. I would like to show you my fry tank set-up. It's a 5 gal. and I'm only going to start with about 3 gallons in it, the light is not super bright.

The night of the hatch I will replace the water with the DT water where the hatchlings will come from. Rotifers should be here on Wednesday and they should hatch on Friday.

If you can find any place to poke holes in my set-up please do so. I need to make sure I'm ready and haven't over looked anything.
