I had an occelaris clown that had a black spot (markings)
on her tail from day one that I got her 6 months ago.
I noticed in time she had black freckles all over her,
she is healthy, eats well and is quite fiesty.
Last weekend I went out and got her a mate, he was
a bit lighter orange than her and has normal markings.
The new clown was accepted right off, they both danced
around and now live in a green bubble tip anemone.
Here it is a week later and he is getting more and more
tinted black all over (more on top then bottom).
He too is healthy, eats well and is quite fiesty.
I have never seen this before, but I am a bit of a newbie with clownfishes.
Is it normal?
Thank you
