My dog face puffer is wigging out

I think he may have a parasite from when I bought him. He keeps thrashing about like he has an itch or something. Nothing visible and he eats fine. Is there anything I should, or can do?

The fish store told me as long as he is eating fine to just let him be but I am not sure

What size tank? I have owned and seen many puffers that freak out in tanks that are too small.

Yeah also is there a lot of decorations in the tank? He could just be settiling in.
