My Elegance became just too big: is it possible to frag ?

My Elegance is too big for my reef. Is there a safe way to frag it in 3 or 4 parts ?

This is a picture 2 months ago. He is now about 30% bigger (or more expanded) than this. It is touching too much all sides of glass and LR.

I have fragged Elegance corals in an attempt to save their lives. They can be cut with a hack saw, tile saw, or rotary tool if you have one. I personally would never cut up a large healthy Elegance. Is there any way you can rearrange the tank to accommodate it?
By the way, beautiful coral!

I have an elegance frag that is eating and doing well. Zepplin fragged it - he may have some insight.

Put a rubber band around the skeleton where you want to frag it and leave it for a week or two. The tissue will pull back and you can cut just the skeleton minimizing tissue damage.

Unfortunatelly it really doesn´t fit anywhere else. And since it is very rare in Brazil I can´t even trade it for a smaller one.

Thank you all. To frag it breaks my heart, but I will follow the recommendantions made.
