My emerald crab has decided to make my toadstool his home.

Is this a problem? All of the polyps extend except the ones he's sitting on.

how long has the EC been sitting on the TS? I would think the EC would move after some time as they are scavengers. Mine are always moving about with no set stationary home or position.

There's a few hermit crabs in our tank that hang out on top of our toadstool for a day or two from time to time. They usually move along all by themselves, but if I notice one on there 2 days or longer I typically remove it just to be safe.

A few polyps not coming out for a couple of days is not a big deal at all. Sometimes our toadstool won't show polyps for a couple of days when it's getting ready to shed.
