My evolving 180 build

Ok folks,

I know gas prices are high and I don't get to many visitors any more. So, here are some updates on the tank.

I hadn't taken any photos of my tank in a while. The growth has been slow, so there hasn't been much of a desire. Take a peek and see what has happened.

WOW! Very nice! That's it I gotta have a fish room. I have to start being extra nice to the wife...:D

You always have to be nice to the wife if you expect to get what you want. hahhahahaha

Thanks for the complement.

Are you on the sales or network side of the cellular company you work for?

I'm on the Wholesale/Sales side. My company is a master dealer for Sprint, Verizon and Cricket. I have about 30 dealers that I support.

Hey Mike is that the Crayola table in the top middle of picture number 6? If so nice job buddy. I also love the open rock work you have going on there. This is going to give you more room for more LE's!

You got it, that is the table I got from ya. It is probably 5-6" wide now and growing well. I was trying not to cram the tank full like I had done in the past. I figured I would go with a smaller number of corals and let them spread out so I still can maintain good flow around them. I'd like to put in some more acans in the future and some LE's ;)

What are your plans for the empty tank opposite the sump?

That tank will become my frag system when the time comes. I need to drill it and build overflows for it still. I figured I would get to it this winter. I have been troubled with finding a way to tie it all into my main sump. I'm sure I'll come up with something.

Looks good Mike. It looks like the new set up has the makings to surpass the old one.

Thanks Jeff,

I built the entire fish room to support a new tank. I agreed to get a new patio built out back first and then order the new tank. We have been doing cost comparison on engineered lumber, pavers and stamped concrete. I had my brother-in-law out last night to work the figures on the stamped concrete. We are doing about 630 sqft. so it appears that going with the stamped concrete with the family discount is going to be the most economical. I have 3 trash cans of base rock. I want to build some structures with acrylic and nylon rod this winter. I will probably setup some large tubs and start the long curing and reseeding process for the base rock this winter. I should be able to build some awsome large structures since I won't be in a hurry.
