Thanks COZ! Too bad my picture taking skills does not do justice to the clam. The mantle is bright golden with a slight metallic sheen to it.

Not really sure if its from Pohnpei, my LFS said it came from Fiji when I bought it last year. Btw my location is Singapore.

I think clams from Fiji are not allowed to be exported anymore.

I bought from one of the LFS who also imports Walt Smith corals. That time over 200 clams were brought in with almost 80% ultra maximas. Some other reefers got very good ones as well that time.

Today there's no more export of Clams out of Fiji.

I didn't know they stopped exporting clams from fiji. I thought it was just LR??

they still do LR from Fiji.
They dont do Clams.

He still exports tons of corals.
He can not export clams cause of new regulations in Fiji.
If ya dont see these Corals in S'pore so it got to do with the market itself.
The corals in S'pore are quite cheap and the competition is tough, so maybe the importers dont like to invest in Fiji corals.
