If you look at the top, it looks as if the streamer is growing more. I'm assuming that means it's getting better....???
 
Beauty! Glad to see he's doing well.
It's a shame these fish are so much prettier than the easier-to-keep banner butterflies... Always seems to be like that.

I actually think many of the Heniochus species are very attractive. Too bad so many get so BIG! I recently saw an adult fully grown heni (it was either acuminatus or diphreutes) and it was ridiculous... like a salad plate!

The streamer has the ability to grow very fast, maybe an inch per day. However, there is a very tiny spine that also grows in the streamer, this takes much longer to grow. So, the fast growing part becomes a flappy fin that is easily lost. When the spine grows, the streamer has more support and is harder to lose. I have also seen that when I feed Nori, the streamer grows, when the fish has no nori then the streamer may stop growing.
