My first anemone :)

Hello all,

I just got my firs rbta yesterday. Acclimated for a while just to make sure it'll survive.
My question is: how can I keep it healthy and happy?

Thanks

make sure it has ample lighting and decent flow. Don't be surprised if it moves because it will and it'l find a place it's comfortable. Also, feed it a piece of shrimp or silverside once or twice a week.

Will my clowns host it? Or is that a hit or miss kind of deal?

I think it's hit or miss. I have a true perc and it has never hosted in my nem. While some others will host right away. I met someone that has a clown that took six months to host in his nem. Great looking RBTA. Even the bubble tips a hit or miss. Don't worry if they start to look like a LTA, sometimes they do.
Be careful for your Koralia above, might get sucked up..

Your clownfish could host it and probably will if it remains healthy. They most likely won't take to it right away. You are right it is hit or miss but most of the time it takes a couple months. However I do know a buddy that got a RBTA and had his onyx percs hosting it in under a week. Best of luck.
