its a different Red Sea Minh, not a lot of stores carry it. Mines a circular tub

That looks like the same label version as the bag, Its probably a new container switch from circular to square.

now this coral pro red sea. Anyone local carry it?

Ok - I guess I am confused. When Eric did his presentation, did he talk about Red Sea Salt or Red Sea Coral Pro Salt? I thought it was Red Sea Salt - but I could be wrong. Below are pictures of the two different salt.

no one locally carries the Red Sea COral Pro. I order mines online and I usually order a couple at a time.

BTW - Dr Foster Smith currently has 160G bucket of Reef Crystal for $32. Shipping of one package was about $10. Shipping of 4 packages is 12. That's a great price is a bunch of people went in together to purchase some and save on shipping.

I just started using seachems reef salt. IF i didnt, Id maybe do a group buy.

Here is the information I found on the RedSea site pertaining to their RedSea Pro salt. I mix to 35 parts per thousand and the Ca level seems very high at that mixture. They don't provide the Mg or dKh levels, but I would think getting a dKh level of 10 with a Ca level of 480 might be difficult. Does anyone use a salt mix level of 30.6 PPT and if so how does that work out?

Corals, calcareous algae and other invertebrates use large amounts of Calcium for the building of their skeletons or shells. The Calcium level in natural seawater at 35ppt is approximately 400 ppm.

Hmmmm.... coral pro huh? Sounds interesting. I've always used IO. I would like a salt that had higher ca and kh. A reliable one that is.....
