I have had my clownfish almost two years now spawning.

I guess because I have moved them to a bigger tank and started feeding worms and oysters

Anyhow can't wait to start trying to raise the fry.

They are black clowns my female is a beast like 3.5 inches.

I also have a mated pair I tried to keep the fry but could only last about 3 days! I scooped them out on the night they hatched then placed them in a smaller tank added air stone and kept it dark for the first 24/48 hrs but did not have live rootifer it's very difficult to get in Australia no lfs sell them? So they all died! So now I just let my tank have them as live food the parents also eat them which is strange? So the key I would say is live rootifer and good luck!

So im at day three on batch two. I have added a few things to my system of growing and I think it may workout. I only keep one fish from the first batch to about day 4 without rotifers. This batch I lost three or four before hatch to fungus. Post hatch only lost two smallest ones.

I have turned part of my closet into a little breeder room. I have built two mini stands for ten gallon tanks. It holds three ten gallon. I have a tank for breeding brine shrimp and have decided to grow my own for food instead of buying them since I bought them for breeding clownfish.

I also am going to have a tank for some freshwater Qt and breeding grow out tank for my dwarf cichlids in there.

I still have my larval tank 10 gallon on my dresser for closer inspection and to be able to easily check them. After this batch they will be raised in the closet and im only going to try and keep every second or third clutch of eggs.

Also I have made my growout tank. I was keeping freshwater in the tank but I bought a 27 cube rimless for the dwarf cichlids just to have something else going on regretting get the freshwater fish as my clowns spawned a couple weeks after I got them.

Nice little set up. I'd watch the temps if you don't leave the door open because it won't get much air flow. Good Luck.

I leave them half open I close it when I watch TV as the bubbling isn't silent.

I really want to setup a 55 gallon with a 29 and 10 below.

I have gotten 7 to live thru day 9 hoping not to lose any thru meta but I figure I might lose two more as they are skinnier and not doing as good as some of the others.

I think I have learned some so hoping next batch will do better.

How long till I can put them in grow out 25-30 days?

or 15-20 ??
