My first RBTA

Well I just picked up a little RBTA for the two misbar clowns I got a couple of weeks ago.

Only to come home to find one of the clowns dead in QT (but that's another story).

Anyway, the RBTA is in the tank getting adjusted. I'll have to pick up another clown for the remaining one.

The nem took food very well on day one, and immediately found a spot on the rock and dug in.

Thoughts?

The clowns. I lost the one on the right. He was a bit smaller, probably the eventual male. The other one seems fine, but time will tell. If I can't find another misbar locally, would you suggest a true perc or ocellaris to mate with the other one.

How big is it? 4"?

I'd say 3-4".

It looks good so far. Strong specimen I do believe. (At least I hope).

Oh gosh, I just picked up on a sexual pun that I did not intend at all. :eek1:

My RBTA crawled all over the place until I stuck its foot into a nice big hole. Trampled my zoas, glad they're still alive.

Is that a red rose anemone? It looks like it's bleaching.

The picture misrepresents is coloring a bit.

Though I don't think it's got the typical colorings of a rose bubble. It has a brownish tint all the way through it's stalk and tentacles (as it should from what I've read and researched), so it hasn't expelled it xooxanthelle. I just don't think it as bright of a red as some.

I'll be keeping a very watchful eye over it in the first few weeks.
