I've got a pair of False Percs in my 24 gallon nano. Just a very basic setup, with a few zoa colonies, green star polyps and candy cane frags.
This morning before work my wife asks what all the little things floating in the tank are. I look and see hundreds of fry. I didn't even know they laid eggs.
I'm completely unprepared to raise the fry, don't have anything on hand to feed them, and don't have another tank set-up to house them, but was excited to see them anyway. I'm sure most of them will be eaten by mom and dad before I get home tonight. But at least I know they're healthy and the tank conditions are good.
Maybe I'll plan to raise the next bunch.
