My first SPS growth pics

Here are the first three SPS corals I got and their growth in the last year (a little over):

Very nice pictures and growth. That is a pretty acropora, I have been looking for something in the yellowish tones.
 
It's hard to tell in the pics but does the acro have a touch of blue in it? It looks nice in the pic and you've had some good growth.
 
That's pretty good for only 1 year! Are you dosing or using a calcium reactor?

Nope not at all actually, I do perform water changes (about 20%) every three weeks.

I think that has to do w/ the lighting/camera. I havent really optimized taking pics yet w/ my Canon T2. Still working on it.


I am going to try to grow some more colorful sps corals now. I think my 7x54w T5s can sustain them
 
I'm not sure where you are in Chicagoland, but if you are itching to frag and need a frag recipient, I'm your man.
