All,

I wanted to test to see if I could keep sps and about 4 weeks ago I piked this guy up:

It is doing well, I think (about 1/2 bigger) and I will like to learn more about it. Can you tell me what it is called?

Thanks!

Nice score! Looks like a healthy thin branching stag. Can't get more specific than that, but looks like you are doing great!

I have one of those and I think it is a micropthalma. It's really hardy so it should be able to take a lot. IIRC it is also the only one of my acros which I never saw red bugs on when I had them. It was one of my first and a great starter acro.

It started as a 1" stick I glued on my LR about a year ago and now it's probably the size of my fist with a large number of branches coming out of the original stick and some more branches coming out of those. It's not the prettiest thing but it probably is one of my favorites since it grows so fast and has such a cool branching structure.

Here's a picture from december. It's grown a lot since then. If you look in my gallery you can see a picture from what it started from.
