:bounce3:Hi, I bought these from a hobbiest on another site, what do you think, they are blue ice and mean green mixed with a purple zoa, thanks.. The small ones are zombies and my not zoa purple-browm mroom !
Hi, thanks for the nice comments, Im using only a 2 bulb T5 over my 28 gallon bow.Im trading out the current stock bulbs for ATI ones though, I should get more par better color, I hope !
Hi guys, Im getting nuke green and purple death zoas + green bay packers and a common green zoas. I was wondering if anyone has the NG or PD palys ? What kind of light-food do you have with them ? Any photos ?
i have both the PD and the NG........mine are in a 90g starphire tank with 6x54 nova extreme pro lighting....the PD i have in akind of a shady spot but everything else is in full light and range from top of the tank(3in away from lights) to the bottom on the bed.
i dont direct feed my zoas or any other corals with the exception of my 10head duncans and my RBTA....but i also dont have much for sps/lps corals either....mainly softies and very few(like 4 maybe) sps/lps
2nd with more light but slightly shaded, more purple but brown hue to it
PD's don't like too much light, I have them shaded a little or bottom of the tank. NGs can take a lot of light but too much and they'll develop blotching yellowish colors on them ( will look ugly ). I have my NG's mid way up the tank.
WOW, those are fantastic I wish mine are half as good ! How about growth, are they both good growers ? Also, I just changed out my Current bulbs with ATI blue + and aquablue, there is no difference in brightness in my tank I thought the difference in par would = brightness but no way, well at least I have 4 good bulbs for my fixture if I sell it in the future..
