my fish looks like its colors are fading

What kind of fish, what size tank, water parameters? There aren't many marine fish that can live on flakes and stay in peak health.

You didn't say what kid of flakes - as far as "dry mix" food goes spectrum is supposed to be good

Generally frozen mysis are excellent

Frozen or even dried cyclopeeze is also great - it's soaked in astaxanthin rich powder, I believe, which helps color.

You can soak the flake in products like Selcon or similar and sometimes easier to find Kent Zoecon

What fish are you feeding? Sometimes a fish needs more algae based food or a food higher in certain fats/HUFA's

Edit: K.Tuna types faster than I - I agree with his post which I'm sure deeply gratfies him

Well mysis are almost as big as he is - lol

I have a green clown goby that will go after mysis, but IME the yellow ones can be harder to feed. This is a fish that should go crazy for frozen cyclopeeze - do you have local access to this? If none of your LFS's have it, chek with your nearest reef club, someone would know where to get it. I know before we had local suppliers our club would organize a group buy.

They are such cool fish -one of my favorites

yes i have local access to 2 places
i know one will have flakes, and frozen brine shrimp
and idk about the other one
my yellow clown goby eats very well
i think he will eat almost anything
i just want what is best for him and make his color glow
