my florida rics does not open much

any advice

i am using 2x250mh reeflux 12k and it is on the bottom of my tank .

How long have they been in the tank? Tank height? Try to shade them a little and/or put them at an angle to give them some time to adjust.

x2 I would put them in some shade for now and slowly adjust them

agreed to what they both said put in shaded area and let them get use to the light.

Sometimes they never will acclimate if the light is too bright. I had a rock with four blues up high under 4-t5's and they stayed small for over a year. I finally realized they didn't like so much light (from seeing them while diving in the Keys), moved them to the bottom of the tank under a slight overhang and they are beautiful now.
