My GBTA

 Just got it today from... Petco. I went to get two peppermint shrimp and saw three GBTA's and had to have this one. My cell phone doesn't do it justice. I'll bring home my good camera from work tomorrow and get some more pictures.

It's bleached and should darken to a more typical green with time.

No it's not even close to being bleached. I said in my OP that the cell phone doesn't do it justice. This GBTA is a beautiful color of green, and like I said in the OP I'll bring my camera home from work to get good pictures.

Thanks Monkie.

So how long after it's been introduced to my tank should I start feeding it? I do know to only feed about once a week. The nem seems very healthy and seemed to get pretty happy once introduced to my tank with much better lighting than at PETCO.

Sadly in my area of Iowa there aren't many LFS to go to. I've heard horrible things about one small store Noah's Ark and I guess I have to go see for myself if true or not. So the only other game in town is PETCO.

PETCO has a big fish sale next weekend and I plan on going to see what they have. The fish in their tanks seem to be healthy, as there are two saltwater guy's there that are knowledgable and have their own larger reef tanks. One has a 180 and the other a 220. So it's at least good to have them there taking care of the fish.

If I don't like what I see at the sale I'll more than likely order from Vivid.

Very interesting, the very word bleached normally means bleached out or white.

So can you answer my other question?

If it stays healthy, you can start feeding after a week. Go with small pieces of human-grade seafood. Feeding will help it regain strength and color.
