many of you know that i've been hoping they would start spawning, and many of you know that they havent, and the culprits have ranged from 'tim get your hands out of the tank' to 'they're still a little young.'
if you didnt, now you know
today, after feeding a much more varied regimen and keeping my hands out of the tank for THREE DAYS (thats a lot!), she started going over to a new rock and brushing it off. after looking at her, her colors are a little brighter and deeper, she looks a little 'healthier' and seems pretty happy.
no eggs yet, but she's exhibiting all the signs (at least all that i know of!) of spawning. i'm continuing to feed very well, keep the water quality very high, and keep my hands out of the tank.
keep your fins crossed!
