My H. Mags

I just received today from DD a new H. Mag. Red base yellow tips. Here is the DD pic:

Here he is in QT. I've started cipro as a precaution, but he looks pretty good for being in the tank just a few hours.

Here is my second H. Mag. Picked him up from my LFS, Vivid, a couple of weeks ago. He needed a cipro treatment due to deflation every night. Looks pretty good now. He was pretty tan but is picking up a nice blue color to his base and tentacles.

Its hard to say since he hasn't spread out, but I would guess at least 10".

Quick update on the Mag I purchased from DD. Moved him to the DT along with his hosting Perc. He is getting hit with a good amount of flow and seems to like where he is:

Yes, the pics are pretty accurate for color. As to where it came from, I don't recall whether DD listed it and I cant seem to go back to the listing to find out.

I wish I could get them cheap lol, I am contacting all of my LFS within 200 miles that I think can possibly get them in to see their pricings on them.

I'm ok with it since it was WYSIWYG and I know DD treats their animals right. If I had an LFS that stocked Mags in enough numbers that I could find one with the colors of this one, I would certainly prefer it, but I don't. I jumped on the first Mag I ever saw at an LFS (the bluish one I have a photo of in this thread). It was $90. But its not as nice as the red base yellow tipped one from DD. I'm happy with both purchases...

Are you able to see the nems before you buy?
