Iwan, I'm floored, in awe, breathless!! Beauty beyond words!! I think a European Reef Tour needs to be planned out for all us back here coveting the tanks seen over-yonder. If I throw a pizza party, will you come to humble Cleveland, Ohio and set me up a clone of yours!!?!? :)

Iwan, here's the true question. Does Switzerland besides having amazing coral reefs have very hot chics who like Americans? lol
Gives (almost) only very hot chics in Switzerland.
:p
Iwan, i'm a rookie, but I must say that your tank is the most spectacular tank that i have seen on this forum
I am honored.
Thanks.
Iwan, do u ski (alpine, If so where?. We just got 14" today, Western Massachusetts, USA.
As a Swiss one must be able to ski.
We have so many beautiful mountains.

That is the most incredible tank I have ever had the good fortune to see! Truly astonishing! Definitely a TOTM!

many thanks.
I am very happy.

Fell you free to nominate my tank for TOTM :D

For a pizza party I almost do everything.
Still pack a bottle of wine to this and I already am in the airplane.

Iwan,
Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m from Portugal and Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m starting to fill my new aquarium with 1100 liters.
Your tank is beautiful, I think in using the Zeovit system. Can I still have a refugium and other fish tank in the same system?

Iwan

Das ist fantastish!!

Ich habe nicht so ein schone reef gesehen, ouch wiele ich im see diving macht!!

Vielen danke fur das inspiration - now in english - enschukdigung - is 6x 54 watt enough? I have space for only 1 more T5.

Fantastic!!

MAny thanks

Simon

I am just curious. Why does the 1st pic look so unusually colorful & the last pic looks more natural. This does have to do with the bulbs used or camera exposure?

Awesome tank!

Which kind of tank do you imagine?
If you would like to have stone corals tank I wouldn't attach the system to a fish tank.
I use in my system a DSB and give bacteria there.
Unfortunately, I don't have direct experience with the Zeovit system.

Hi Simon,

how are the dimensions of your tank?
I would take one bulb per 6-7 cm (depth).
The watt number depends on the length.
90% of the length should be covered.

In the past, I have taken a photograph with other parameters.
The withe matching of the camera was changed.
The second picture therefore seems more natural.
The new illumination is considerably stronger.
The picture exposure is therefore different.

I just bought a years supply and expect to see my reef turn into Iwan's very soon

The articles of Prodibio are very good.
It needs some weeks until the first successes are visible.
The bacterias (Bio Digest) and the bacterium food (Bioptim) reduce the nutrients to a minimum.
Reef booster provides the corals and microorganisms with important amino acids and vitamins.

Thanks Iwan

I bough Biodigest, reef booster and biotrace rather than bioptm was that a mistake?

I couldnt find bioptm on any of the websites. The bioclean pack had biotrace included, so I bought that as bacter food.

Have I made a mistake?

Many thanks

Simon

@ Simon

Bioptim is the latest product.
Biotrace will be for fresh water and Bioptim for saltwater.
The difference lies in the trace elements.
But no problem: I also use Biotrace

:D

Have you or any of your fellow T5 reefers ever experimented with overdriving the T5 lamps on Ice Cap ballasts?

I assume your ATI luminare has individual reflectors for each lamp. Is that fixture for the 80 watt lamps? I have measured PAR of the ATI reflector against the Sunlight Supply Tek reflector which is also parabolic. The ATI provided nearly 20% more light at the sandbed than the Tek reflector. If you went from a flat reflector to the ATI unit and increased the number of lamps your corals must really love you now.

Have you experienced and bad effects from the increase in light?

IWAN, What ADDITIVES or PRODUCTS do you recommend using for SPS health if you have a BAREBOTTOM REEF (NO DSB). Many of us have changed to barebottom so that we can increase water flow. Can you make a small list of what would be good additives for the barebottom reefer? Is Bacteria still a good idea? Thanks for any help!!!

The Grim Reefer,

Where in US can you get ATI light fixture? I like the idea of ATI gives out 20% more light at the botton of the tank compare to TekLight, but I just can't find a US retailer sells it. When I called Reefgeek.com, they told me that ATI has been out of business for almost a year now and the only thing that is left over from ATI must be older stocks. Or, did you simply get the ATI t5 reflector?

Iwan,

Did you get your new ATI T5 ligth fixture online? Can you give me a link? I hope I can find a US retailer for it.

Andy
