My humble 75 gallon SPS reef

Almost don't feel my tank is worthy of posting in here, but considering it's periods of neglect/up and downs this past year I'm proud of where it's at.

Tank has been setup before but hit the reset button due to losing the battle to AEFWs about a year and a half ago. Currently has been setup about a year and 3 months.
I travel quite a bit and am pretty busy with work so the tank goes through periods of neglect, this is the cause of my current what once was a small problem with bubble algae, now a big problem. But I'm starting to turn the corner on the battle. Had some corals brown out and fade due to slacking on consistent feeding and iodine/amino dosing :headwally:. Trying to get that back on track.
Anyways here it is, criticisim and suggestions welcome.

Dedicated reef laptop+ reef keeper and a 20 gallon ATO reservoir enables me to be away for about 10 days, but when I'm gone tank gets fed 1x a day opposed to 3-4× also I don't have my sitter deal with dosing as he has no experience so I'm iffy. Usually dose iodine and aminos daily.

Nothing impressive, cellphone camera, meh. tank is now almost 2 years old, kinda unhappy with it, need to start spending more time with it and not neglecting it but my new obsession with entomology and collecting tarantulas is kinda taking over. Sometimes I even consider tearing it down.

You have some really big and healthy colonies in there.
Why not get an auto feeder for pellets when you travel.. That'd keep nutrients a bit more stable...
Bubble algae is a royal pita.. I know..
What lighting combo are you running and where do you keep n and p?

+1 good looking tank, what kind of wrasse is that?
Thanks, its an 8 line wrasse and TBH the worse choice fish wise I have made so far, he is a butthead to the other fish, its his tank essentially.

I have been considering this now that I successfully got my anthias to start taking NLS pellets, its not just travel though, Im part of the problem, my attention wanders between my aquarium and other hobbies, relationships etc etc and I tend to hyper focus on them one at a time which can cause other the hobbies/ aspects of life to be cast aside during that period of peaked focus.

Im a mess I know :spin2:

I am currently running 2x250w DE reefflux 12ks, I swithed to ushio 20ks for a short while but wasn't happy. I also run 2x54w t-5s, 1- 450nm and one true actinic 420nm in a hammy fixture. Its about time to change bulbs again. Another $200- yay !

I try to keep P04 around .05, NO3 between 5-10, PO4 isn't a problem, but I struggle keeping my NO3 from reaching 0, I know a feeder would definitely help with this.

Again, things that make me consider taking it down or downsizing is cost, periods of neglect and ultimately impending crash. Seems like with my tanks of the past anytime stuff starts really looking good something terrible happens, and we all know that frustrating feeling, I just have some thinking to do.

Thank you for the kind words guys.

Don't take it down! You k is you will just want another in a few months. That red colony with two tables is beautiful! I like it and also like the reflux 12k bulbs.

I took it down to move from Kansas city to Saint Petersburg FL about 6 months ago, I sold off all the livestock but kept the equipment for my next "inevitable build.
