My ich eradication challenge *question about fallow tank*

So I'm on day 5 now with cupramine, and everybody looks a lot better. The box fish who has it the worst now only has a few spots, and what appear to be scars :/ the keyhole angel was COVERED on day 3 of treatment. He's now 100% spot free :] The clowns never showed visible spots, but were slapping and rubbing the bottom of the tank, and swimming very sporadicaly. Now they're back to theirselves as well.

So far so good. Here's a picture of my new project. Got the tank at petco the last day of the $1 a gallon tank sale.
The stand I got WITH another 55g tank, 2 working fluorescents/hood pieces. For 25 dollars at a yard sale

I'm currently treating my fish in a 20g qt, and have my dt fallow. But it's got liverock/sand and my inverts. My question is; will the inverts drag out the ich life cycle, being as they can carry ich (but not get sick?) if I have that correct..? Any info is greatly appreciated

Please read the life cycle thread. There's just so much info. Inverts do not host ich this is why they don't get sick. They can carry only the cyst, there for can transport it from one tank to another. Just like a rock or your sand or your glass tank. Since the cyst form can last 72 days (scientifically documented) in this cyst form, that's how long you need to wait to be 100 percent sure. Once that cyst ruptures the parasites have 24 hrs to find a fish host, or they die.

That is correct. But remember that tank transfer only works for cryptocaryon irritans because the front end of the life cycle is so predictable. That is not true for other parasites.
