This is strange but my jedi mind trick is the fastestgrower in my tank. go figure.

Same here. Incredibly fast growth. In 2 months, my 1" frag grew to about 5" or 6" in diameter.

Nice looking Jedi; I'm partial to the purple version. They are fast growers for sure. Very interesting shape if you get them to plate rather than encrust.

Mine grows very slow. I have an Undata that looks very similar that grows alot faster. I wish it was the other way around.

Nice, mine grows extremely fast too. Got it as a 3" colony about 6 months ago and now its at least 7" in diameter.Nicest monti in my tank by far. Awesome piece and color Western_Reefer.

I have one but it's both the purple one and the green one. It's also a fast grower or never grows.

But seriously, they require a LOT of light or they don't grow. I'm talking at least 300 PAR. The more flow, the more it'll grow ridges. The variations in what you guys are experiencing are variations in the conditions you're growing it in.

When I first gone mine 4 months ago I put it on the sand with other Montis. It took about 2 weeks for it to start looking bad. It lost color, no polyp extension and wan't going to be long for this world. I moved it half way up the tank to twice the light and higher flow and in a week it was looking better. Not it grows fast, has ridges and full polyp extension.

Under the LFS' AI's it's a green one. Under my Kessil A350s, both channels all on, it's the purple one.

I just changed from a Kessil A150 Deep Ocean blue to a Reefbrite XHO blue as my actinic range supplement on that tank and it's now more green but still not as green as the LFS.

Great coral. Give it lots of everything and it'll grow beautifully.

Extremely fast grower. My mother colony is 7"x5" with 3 frags that are at least 2x2.. Love the color.
