Nice anemone, Looks somewhat bleached though. But the long tentacles seem to indicate good health on these species, good luck with it

thanks illcssd

can you tell me please what I did wrong with the link so I don't do it again.
I talked to the guy at Coral reef farm is yellow was the actual color or was it bleached. He told me that that's the natural color and not to believed people's who say it's just a bleached Green one. So I really don't know who to believe. Just as long as it lives I really don't care what color it is.:)

No, you've heard correctly - there's no such thing as a yellow carpet. Bleached greens look yellow. FWIW, my gigantea had a similar colouration when I first purchased it:

You can't see the yellow as much as it truly was, camera didn't pick up on it thanks to my (lack of) picture taking skills..

And here it is now (2.5 years later):

(It's the one on the left.)

As you can see it's nowhere near yellow now.

PS. Good luck with yours. :)

Right now it's sitting 12 inches under a 250w 10k light in a lumenarc reflector. As for flow I have a closed loop system which was basically for my SPS corals. It works just as well for anemones. The only thing I'm concerned about right now is it doesn't seem to be laying flat on the stones, it looks more like a leather coral. I'm wondering if it's getting enough light?

Yes it does look like a leather coral. About how many gph do you have in your system and is it random flow?

between the closed loop and my sump return it's about 1,800 GPH. And its not a random flow.

1800 gph in a 200 gallon tank you say?
remember it was originally set up for SPS corals which need a good flow. And there is probably a lot of SPS keepers that would say it's on the low side.
