Well after about 6mo of being in holding tank I was finally able to move my haddoni to my 210 display tank.

He has been in the tank for 2 days and his foot is planted and he looks to be doing well.. Seems to be enjoying the LED's

Poor little guy needs a few more tentacles. I wish you the best of luck growing it up!

Why was it in holding for so long?

Well he was given to me about 6 months ago by a lady I bought some live rock from. She was breaking down her tank and wanted it gone. So I did not have a place to put him because the display was not ready. So I got a 60 Rubbermaid tub from tractor supply and he has been living in that tub in a closet in a spare bead room since then. I hug a 250 watt metal Halide light from the shelving and hooked up a canister filter. He actually can get much much bigger he has be shrunk since the move.

Well congrats! Keeping a Haddoni in a rubbermaid is definitely not reccommended, but better than putting it in a cycling tank for sure. Good job keeping it healthy this whole time.

When it gets settled in and expands fully I'd love to see an update picture. The one you have there makes it look like it needs to grow in some more tentacles, but it could just be the shape its in right there.
