my male clown?

my male clown is just sleeping on the rock...or more accurately, just lying there. it just started today.

its the spot over which he normally hovers when she wont let him in the nem.

should i be concerned yet?

when he's not laying there, he seems normal. i put food in, and he swam after it.

he is staying much closer to that spot than he normally does, though.

Sounds like he is fine.
Do you have something for him to nest in besides the anemone?

oh, of course. I have lots of rocks.

Mine does that too. Sometimes he will wedge himself between/underneath two big frilly mushrooms, and the only thing sticking out is about 1/4" of his tail. It's really strange b/c he doesn't move at all during that time.

well, if rocks arent comfortable, then no. unless you count the two frogspawn frags...

SOOO...BUZZ...how bout i come pick up some xenia this week?

i will have two rics on friday...any chance those will do?

should i put them where he 'likes' to sit now?

oh--i bought andy's top off kit, so i'll be hooking that up to an air lifter and a 2.5 gallon jug (walmart special filled w/rodi water from home). i plan to put it on a timer, so that it will run for 15 minutes every six hours (float failure only gets me a gallon of water on the floor every six hours that way!). the jug will sit on the floor, and even if there is some siphoning, it will only move water back and forth, not more than either container could hold.

I don't think so, but I'm not positive. I don't notice her being mean to him except every once in a while. Usually when she wants him out of the frogspawn. He usually hides with his food and then I guess takes a nap under the shrooms.
