No deaths so far!!! I'm thinking of purchasing a clown fish off of marinedepot.com or saltwaterfish.com. Tell me what yall think!

I have ordered a few things from Liveaquaria.com and it's been awesome. Today I got a Sargassum trigger and a pack of corals. I couldn't have picked out nicer stuff myself.

I've heard I need stronger lighting to keep any type of coral.. any suggestions? thats not 700 dollars? and I want something that is day/night because i just keep my lights off at night, and then back on during the day

yeah liveaquaria is a really nice place to deal with. which tank is the lighting for? I love my t-5 lighting.

its for my 75 gal.. i plan on getting A LOT more LR and eventually some corals, but I know you have to have MAD lighting, and thats one thing I dont think i have

since you have a lack of light in your tank that anenome's days are numbered...they require tons of light

Live aquaria says their fiji foundation rock is actually live and can grow stuff after a few months.. true? or untrue?

that is probably not enough light for the anenome ... i would take him back to the LFS, they sholdn't have sold him to you. With that light you could definately have mushrooms, soft corals, and even hardier LPS if you keep them near the top.

hey thats the same one that i have and my anemone is doing fine...i have a 46 gal bowfront. BUT tomorrow im planning to change my bulbs to T-5

yeah, but you have only kept him for a month or two, no? They don't die instantly from low light, they slowly wear down and then deteriorate quickly. It is good that you are upgrading.

so very true they require very strong light such as mh or multiple T-5's to really srive yes you can feed them but they still require strong light to live happily i have a bta under 250watt mh and i almost think i need more
