my mushrooms

okay for some reason my mushrooms are randomly dying, the middle (mouth) kinda starts frilling up then it starts to actually rot. It isnt all mushrooms but some I have lost two and now my ricordea looks it might start doing the same. I checked the water it is within the limits and I even had it tested by the LFS and he said it is good. The couple I lost I have under T5's and the ricordea are under the 250HQI and have been for months.
I use part 1 & part 2 dosing, feed corals every other day to every 3rd day with frozen coral food, red bar, cylops, brine shrimp eggs without shells, marine snow. everything else seems to be doing well but the few mushrooms. I even took them out that were showing signs of this and dipped them in revive.
I am at a loss. i will take a pic if i can obtain one.

"water it is within the limits" Is a little obscure, exactly what are your parameters.

I think over feeding was it becuase I stopped feeding but once a day just a little bit and all is back to normal.

It sounds like a fairly new tank. Is it? What type of corals do you have? Most corals can thrive with good lighting , without feeding. You mentioned you might post a pic. I would love to see your tank!

Nice looking tanks. I love the little "Donkey Kong" frag station. (That referance might be before your time!)
How are the shrooms doing ? I have had that happen to a ric once but never my shrooms. Most recently I got a great deal on a yuma rock and I lost them in two weeks. Their mouths started gaping and eventually melted away.
After researching I had read that I should of acclimated them very slowly to the light . basically in very, very low light and once they were settled mslowly move them into more light. Losing them were very disappointing.

i am too wandering how new the tank is.....also do you dose with iodide??i have found that my shrooms and polyps seem to like it...only other thing is you dont have any lil critters bothering them at the middle do you..anything stealing food??
