So after going thru many a tank, I just finished downgrading from a 180 to this 120. The main reasons being, i was at the limits of 2part dosing, and would have had to add more leds, and time. So this is the result of many builds in one, let start w the tank standard 120 ( 4X2X2) w single overflow for looks, running the herbie over flow, w return over the top. Return pump is the waveline dc 5000, and 2 mp40's for flow. Im running a itech 200 skimmer, and have a tunze 6015 in the sump for flow as well. Lighting consists of 2 large heatsinks w 64 leds each, 2 to 1 ratio blue to white, 6uv, 1 red, 2 green each, 28 are dimmable per heatsink, rest are run @ 700ma all w 65 and 80 degree optics, attached w subframe connected to a swing arm. I got rid of (HOPEFULLY) all my texas trash paly's and schooms, and went w sand bed this time around. I added a dry area to keep electronics away from saltwater, and to have easy access (learned this one the hard way, after apex fell in fuge while tearing down 180:headwally
