one thing i regret was not painting the overflow black. the overflows look really ugly and made the tank dirty. i was thinking of gluing a piece of black pond mat over the overflow to cover it up.

very nice, if i were you i would have painted tho whole back of the tank. Other than that it looks awesome

I like the aquasacpe. Gonna be nice looking with some SPS in there. = )

Thanks Lifeaquatic. I am still waiting for the SPS to grow. So far so good. i haven't had any SPS died on me yet and i hope to keep it that way. I like the fugium. Pods are growing like crazy.

I thought about painting the background blue, but when you do, the light in the back is reduced by as much as 40%. the tank looks brighter without a painted background. the only problem i have is the over flow. It's not black and all the algae shows up clearly.

Take a piece of black acrylic and place them under your overflow boxes. Tank looks great!
