My New 20G Tank!

Hi-

I'm new to the forum but just wanted to post pictures of my fairly new setup (I've had it for about 2 weeks now). Recently got some LR from a fellow enthusiast with tons of life (and the damn Eunice worm you might've seen in another post), LS, some Live Water, and some Macroalgae to help speed things along.

Any feedback or comments are greatly appreciated and my aquascaping is just developing so any arrangements that I should make would be great to know as well.

I'll be getting a test kit tomorrow to start testing my parameters and then it's waiting and slowly progressing...

Lastly, there are a few tulip anenomes and other coral...what should I feed them and how? I'd prefer to keep everything living (despite my relatively new tank)

What is this called and how do I feed it (it's normally not closed up like this):

Broken Sea Star that hitchhiked into my tank...

Thanks for looking!

Congrats on your tank......That looks to me like Xenia. It will eventually spread like a weed.

Just remember that nothing good happens fast. It is super-crazy-very important that you take your time in this hobby.

I would aquascape so you can reach things in the back of the tank, and have like 4" of clearance all around, I didnt and now some of the sides and back cant be clean. Its aggravating, so I would aquascape to avoid that, I like your rock work, Just more it forward over the base rock, and make sure you have good caves and ledges for corals and that is stable. Looks like your off to a good start.

Those little green anemones are Majano sp. and will spread throughout the tank stinging anything they come in contact with.

broken star is actually an asterina starfish

some say good, some say bad, im not sure, but IME ive seen one on a patch of coraline one day, next day it was bleached, so when i find one in my tank i put it in the fuge, not sure if it was a coincidence, but w/e

good job!
